Hi Chris Ferreira,
I caught 15 mns. of your garden talk at the PLC Open Gardens Day and was mightily impressed because I have relocated from Blackheath, Blue Mtns. Sydney NSW to Wembley and naturally a passionate, life long gardener. But, oh what dreadful soil!!
I love a challenge! My first garden was extablishing a home/garden in a semi-arid, clay 6" rainfall area. Second on heavy black basalt soil in NSW, third in central NSW hot summers and frosty winters then alpine in the mountains. Now my last garden on sand!
So I was very interested to hear you talk about how to build up the trace elements and what mulch to use for moisture retention.
I am writing because don't I remember the website you suggested to find the 1drop waterwise plants in various colours for this area.
I have a reticulated, landscaped garden but of course can't stop myself putting in my personal touch.
Are you on Saturday morning's Roots and Shoots with Sabrina which I avidly listen to for local tips?
Regards,
Dianne Orman
